An African beat that you feel deep within, a movement that you can feel but not describe, a beauty that is completely unique in itself – all captured through a lens.

Wild Aperture Photographic Safari is a Hosted Journey led by an expert photographer who comes with years of experience in the African bush, both in the Limpopo and Kruger areas.

Starting in the West of South Africa; this malaria-free region forms part of the greater Kalahari. It is here that you can expect to photograph the infamous orange sunsets of Africa, the silhouettes of the baobab tree, some of the country’s best game viewing, and a drier landscape than any other safari destination in the country.

Traveling East towards the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sands is an unfenced reserve allowing big open areas for the animals to roam. Superior viewings of wildlife roaming amongst the denser greenery makes for some exquisite photographs in a slightly different environment, each shot telling the story of the setting you are encapsulating. This area is particularly well-known for leopard sightings and an array of bird species, something for every avid photographer.

Private vehicles throughout the trip allow for longer periods of time at any location the group desires, allowing you to capture those photo-worthy moments that crave documentation. Safaris will take place at prime times for game viewing in order to ensure you capture game on the move, on the hunt, and at the watering holes.

Embark on a journey creating your own personal library that tells African stories through personal documentation; photographing physical beauty, atmospheric emotion and an internal sentiment through your camera lens.
