Born in the beautiful Canary Islands, Spain, Maria is the owner and managing director at IKON.
Maria started her career as a teacher in the UK and worked as an executive assistant in Madrid for many years. The experience has helped enhance Maria’s skills as a precise communicator and an excellent planner, particularly where attention to minute detail is paramount.
Maria’s travels have taken her to many different corners of the world. Her experience as an exacting traveler, combined with her love of well-designed itineraries and enjoying life´s finer pleasures were driving factors to become the “director” of IKON. Her interests include fine cuisine, art, architecture, water sport and fashion.
Maria prides herself on helping IKON clients savor every moment of what can often be a life changing and unforgettable experience.
My favorite trip was Cape Town’s scenery, gourmet venues and surrounding wineland areas. I will also never forget falling asleep to a forest orchestra at Timbavati Game Reserve.
