TUJATANE

Supreme safari lodge, Tongabezi, was first established in 1990 with husband and wife duo, Ben and Vanessa Parker and the late William Ruck Keene who was known for placing Zambia on the tourism map. Vanessa previously volunteered as a teacher in Livingstone, Zambia, and opened The Tongabezi Trust School, Tujatane in 1996. Vanessa is devoted to Tujatane and her time spent teaching is purely on a voluntary basis.

Tujatane has an acclaimed charity status around the world and is solely funded on donations. These donations help towards child sponsorship, teacher sponsorship, donations towards food programmes, medical programmes and building projects.
