Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is a landlocked country located in Southern Africa. The country is set on a high plateau and is surrounded by Botswana in the Southwest, Zambia in the Northwest, Mozambique in the East and South Africa in the South.

Zimbabwe’s main attractions include the magnificent Victoria Falls, the national parks of Hwange, Mana Pools, Lake Kariba, Matusadona, Gonarezhou and the Matobo Hills. What’s really spectacular about these parks is that each one is completely different from the other, and we recommend an extended stay to truly experience the country.

Zimbabwe has a troubled past but is quickly recuperating and claiming its rightful spot at being Africa’s top safari destination. Much like their Zambian neighbors, Zimbabweans are extremely hospitable and also include a diverse culture.

To see Zimbabwe from a unique perspective, IKON recommends expertly guided walking safaris, game drives and canoe safaris that are all available at various camps and lodges. As a unique opportunity, we suggest our clients fly to Zimbabwe’s national parks and limit their accommodation to one or two camps during their stay.

Travelers can expect highly-skilled guides; less traveled terrains and elegantly tented safari camps and lodges.

What’s more, IKON is only a telephone call away to planning your luxurious getaway to Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe’s main attractions include the magnificent Victoria Falls, the national parks of Hwange, Mana Pools, Lake Kariba, Matusadona, Gonarezhou and the Matobo Hills.
